I think that's a cool idea - but using a World Series ball and it costing that much is another thing.

The cost is pretty silly, but the idea is neat. I would buy one made from an insignificant ball from an insignificant game for like 50 bucks just to tell people about my beanie made from baseball guts.

I saw one of these on display at the Royals Authentic's shop recently. Thought it was cool and unique. Then my next thought was that it looked small. To small for me but maybe something for my 7yr old son. Then I kinda lost interest in it and bought a GU bat and some balls for about the same price. I think it is was a ball from an Eric Hosmer single.
