We just sent out an email, read it for more information.
we are not able to disclose the item yet, however it will be the first sports related collectible to have sold for 8 figures, no question. Barring unforeseen delay in announcing, the item will be announced late next week from NYC in a press conference with the parties involved.

If you wish to consign to our October Legends auction, please contact our office now at info@goldinauctions.com
or me personally at ken@goldinauctions.com

thank you

Because there might be a couple members who I would not do that, except for bragging rights

Jackie Robinson's 1947 rookie home jersey, possibly attributed to MLB debut...?

Guessing it's either that or OJs white bronco from the chase.

Something relating to a high grade or uncut strip of a Honus Wagner T206 tobacco baseball card?

no idea what the actual item is, but my thoughts:

1) something NY related (biggest market in the country that could command an 8 figure price on something, and where the press conference will be); and

2) something that is not game used. reading everything literally, the "related" part of the "sports related collectible" phrase that is being used makes me think that, if it was game used, the phrase used would just be "sports collectible".

I'M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT UNTIL NEXT WEEK!

10m though? That would seem aggressive to me but maybe if photomatched who knows. I thought the rules of baseball would go for like 5m and they fell way short.

Another vote for the white Bronco....
....or a Honus Wagner.

Babe Ruth's rookie jersey.

If Judge's can sell for $160k, then Ruth's should sell for 100x that amount.

Small delays , will be releasing PR. Week from today, sorry for delay .
Ps no it's not the bronco.
There are lovers and haters, and even the biggest haters will say " ok, he was right this is by far the most valuable and the most significant" 50 years from now nothing will come around that is more important to the world of sports then what we will be selling

That could only mean one of two things:
1. Your selling Yankee Stadium and/or the Yankees team.
2. Your selling AT&T Stadium and/or the Dallas Cowboys team.

I would imagine it has to be something that already holds material value without the sports add-in, a car, a house, etc.

I was thinking something similar—like an ownership share in a team.

Sporting AND historical significance .... hmmm

Babe Ruth's transfer docs Boston to Yanks ?

Jackie Robinson's contract with the Dodgers ?

Not sure "paper" items will command a $10M price tag

have to think more about this ....

We are not putting ANY 'price tag' on it.
the appraisal was done 2 years ago by the consignor and it is pertinent to the backgrounds and facts. It was done for insurance purposes and the documents are insured for $36 million.
We will see what they bring at auction, I am confident a major US corporation, sports league, or perhaps well known celebrity will want to own them and ensure they are available for generations to come on public display

The Jackie Robinson contracts. I think the live auction took place recently but couldn't find any news of the results.
