Can anyone share some divine wisdom on this? For example what does this code mean?
07221489
and I have seen that have same number of digits but have a decimal and then another digit.

Thanks and I kinda figured that part but I am wondering about the additional digits and the decimal and digit on others

I asked Pete Tucci about this back in 2013. I'd guessed the first six digits were the date, the next two were the order/batch number, and any number after the decimal point was the number of the bat from that order. Here was Pete's reply:
Jeff, you are pretty much right on. The only difference is the 91.7 in the serial # is the weight of the wood in oz. before we made the bat.

So what would it mean if there is no decimal point and a number then?
Like what is difference between these two?
