Mike, just a thanks for letting me know about the Nuf Ced pinback that closed on ebay today. It was MOST appreciated. Makes you feel good that people look out for one another in the collecting hobby. Thanks again, and for being a friend, even though I've never me you.

You are welcome Greg. I'm assuming you got it? If so, you got a real bargain. If you find any Cubs pinbacks in odd locations, you can return the favor. :)

Hi Mike,

I came across this thread and thought I'd post. I can't part with this one but as a Cub fan and fellow button collector, I figured you'd appreciate seeing it. It's further proof that every now and then you can still get lucky at antique malls.

It could only be from part of 1953-4. A really tough one and without a doubt, my favorite PM10.

Thanks,
Andy

Nice pick up Andy. I'll be posting some pics on your site soon if that's ok. I have a couple pins I'm waiting on. I had lost the link a while back.

Hi,

That would be great. What I'll do is clear out some of the older pics to create more room. With those free sites, they cap the amount of pic memory that you get. Someday, i'll step up and actually create a real website. It's been pretty dead lately but on occasion i'll get an email from someone who stumbles upon it and it makes it worth keeping it active. In any event, I'd like to see what you pick up...

Yeah, I saw his book on the Kiner pin. When I saw the button in the case i couldn't believe my eyes. While I waited for someone to come help me I just prayed the condition would hold out once it was in my hands. There are no flaws on this one at all other than the usual tarnished back.

Here's some more Cubbies for you...

Here ya' go. If you click on "pictures" on the left of the page, you'll see a few different albums. Most are pretty empty right now but I did leave a few nice Cameo's posted by "autograf" a long time ago. I also add my more recent pins as I come across them.
