Were the Mets 1986 BP jerseys supplied by Goodman and Sons? What year did the Mets start wearing the blue BPs with racing stripe on sleeves. Did these racing stripe BPs only have "New York" across the front or did they have "Mets" as well?

I think the racing stripes were introduced in 1987 and home had Mets and road has "New York"

Racing stripes along the sleeves started in 1987. There were two versions; a home with Mets across the front and a road with a script New York across the front. In 1988, the script New York on the road version was changed to New York in block letters. Both styles continued through the 1992 season.
