Anyone ever see A Steiner cert with a picture of the item on the cert?

Just seemed a little different.

ive done a ton of business with steiner over the years and their LOAs from various years are found in essentially every auction house for any given auction. that said, i have never seen a steiner LOA that had a photo of the item in it like in this listing. reaching out to steiner would be one way to inquire further, but a lot of those guys are clueless over there - high turnover means there probably isnt anyone still around from back when that LOA was issued that would have any idea. suspicious to say the least.

If you look at his Bret Gardner you can see it’s a cut out put on top of the paper in the plastic sleeve. I don’t think these are part of the coa but rather cut outs by the owner placed on top of the coa.

You can always email or message the seller. In fact you are supposed to before you post on here with concerns. Give the seller a chance to answer any concerns.

Now that you mention that it seems to be exactly that.

i will shoot him a quick message in the morning and double check.

thanks for the heads up.

thanks again

I have confirmed with the seller that is exactly what it is. He took cut outs and put them on top of the COA and inside the plastic.
