Willie Mays 1964 Wilson Jersey

I picked up a Wilson Mays 1964 home jersey. It has name in the collar, proper tagging, size 42. I'd like clarity if Mays used a Wilson jersey in '64. I'm told the Giants used McAuliff, Wilson and McGregor for home jerseys in the '60s. Might anyone suggest an authenticator for Mays jersey's? Any help would be appreciated.
