Hey GUUers!
Looking for some knowledge regarding NFL helmet recert sticker colors. I recently picked up a Saints helmet with both shell and face mask date codes from 1984. Unfortunately the Recert sticker is partially damaged so that I can not read the date. It is a black edged sticker.
Helmets I have or have been able to research are:
1983 Red; 1984 Green; 1990 Black; 1993 Light Blue; 1995 Red; 1996 Green; and 2001 Darker Blue. Is there a recurring pattern that is used?
The player was with the Saints from 1981 to 1986. Any help would be appreciated.
