I recently ran across a Rams helmet from the early-2000s that has green horns instead of gold horns on the helmet decals. I have seen other "green horn" Rams helmets in the hobby as well. In taking a close look at the helmet, it looks like there are remnants of gold paint on the outer edge of the decals and a bit of glitter scattered throughout.
The helmet was obtained directly from the team according to the provenance that is available, and everything else about the helmet appears to be correct. However, I am not particularly knowledgeable about helmets as I generally do not collect them, so any information about the green decals will be most appreciated.
