Hideki Matsui Mizuno Bat

Does anyone know if Mizuno is changing the centerbrand logo on their bats? Found this 2007 spring training pic of Hideki Matsui with a different style Mizuno logo.

Great picture. Interesting new logo. What I am curious about on this bat also is there is no pine tar on that bat or Mota stick.

I was offered a bat just like that and passed on it because it also had no pine tar residue and no Mota, but it did have ball marks.

Check out this Piazza shot from A's camp. It sure looks like Mizuno changed the centerbrand logo starting this year!
