Hey Everyone what do you think of this bat? Was it used by Cochrane,Is this a store model bat? I'm going to say store model based on the length being stamped on the knob.

Hey Tim,

I was looking at a Mickey Cochrane that was up for auction check it out
1934 Mickey Cochrane (HOF) Game-Used Bat (1934, his first as a Tiger catcher) (http://www.americanmemorabilia.com/Auction_Item.asp?Auction_ID=21677)

Although this bat has a model # I emailed the seller last week to ask if there is a model # no response.

I cant wait to get that Horton bat LMK when you get the check!

Hi Shawn,

You bring up an interesting point. I wonder if anyone knows if that bat in the AmerMem auction actually sold, and if so for what price?

I think to be really comfortable with a bat with inch marks on the knob there would have to be some very strong provenance associated with the bat.

I'll let you know on the check. I also sent you an email regarding some other Tigers items.
