    Canseco 1989 ALCS bat?

Has anyone ever seen the bat that Canseco used to hit the 5th deck homerun in the 89 ALCS? I'm just curious if it ever went up for sale. He sold everything and including kitchen sink so I'm surprised that I never came across that particular bat. It would be a Rawlings Big Stick.

    Thanks as always

    jason,

i've never seen it but i agree that it would be an incredible bat to own.
to date, i haven't seen a 1989-1992 canseco bat that met my requirements for legitimacy/game use and price. i'm holding out for this one:

lelands sold it in may 2003. knob is stamped "JC3 061 90". loa from a toronto blue jays clubhouse staffer. i wonder if anyone on this forum has it?

    rudy.

Jason, I tried to get that bat from Jose but it didnt make it home from the road trip. He said they stolen it from his locker!!

I have the following Rawlings models that Jose has used over the years. Email me if you want photos and I will see what I can do.

      -1987 Rawlings
      -1988 Rawlings Stamped World Series
-1990 Rawlings Stamped ALCS with red ball marks. The World Series balls were the only balls manufactured in this manner.
-1996 Rawlings used in his BoSox days.
-1997 Rawlings identical to the photo that was posted.

      Thanks,

Thanks for the replys everyone. It's a shame that the bat got stolen. I wonder if it'll ever come up for auction. I sure hope it does.

        Juan, you have mail.
