Whoever broke that doesn't know how to hit with a wooden bat.

Wow! I think it's great how some people just put up stuff to sell and think we as collectors see it and jump on it immediately. Obviously not a game used bat.

If his story was true, then why would he sell something which was given to his 6-year-old son?? That's kinda mean to just take it from him and put it on eBay

I just the seller this message:

"You should take this bat down. People know it's fake and it is wrong to try to pass it off as a bat used by A-Rod. Even if it was real, why would you take something from your 6 year old and sell it on eBay?"

              Dear GameUsedBat and others

When making a comment of calling an item fake. Tell us why you believe so, so the new people who are not familiar with it can understand also.

Also as we all know proper procedure before calling out an item you are supposed to contact the seller and give him at least 24 hours.

GameUsedBats when you contacted the seller what did he say?

                Re: Arod gamer?

Hello,For those who did not know why the Arod bat in this thread was bad, here are a few reasons.#1 Louisville Slugger player issued pro models are not labeled as a pro model. Rather, they are labeled as a Genuine model number. In this case, Arod bats would probably read Genuine C271 or Genuine P72.#2 Alex Rodriguez uses black with silver bats. This bat is a black and gold bat, very unconventional colors for real professional models of our current era.#3 For the most part, professional model bats will also have a player's team name under the name. In rare occasions, Louisville Slugger will be found under the name. However, in such cases there would still be a Genuine C271 above the name. #4 These black and gold "pro model 32" bats are available at your local sporting good store as a store bat. I could go on, but I hope everyone layed off of bidding! Thanks, Ryan
