I was just wondering if anyone out there has any ' Milestone ' baseballs ? I have seen that some one here has Jose Canseco's 400th homerun ball and that type of ball is what I am talking about. I personally own the baseballs that were Dave Parker's 1,000th rbi, 1,00th rbi and the ball he hit for his 2,500th hit. Are there any others out there ?

I meant his 1,300th rbi not 1,00th.

Talk about 'milestone' items. A few years ago Mastro auctioned the watch Knute Rockne was wearing when he died in a plane crash. The watch stopped at impact, so the time was the moment of impact.

That would be very eerie owning something like the watch someone was wearing when they died . I did not know he died in a plane crash.

I went to Graceland in Memphis 2 weeks ago and couldn't walk away from Elvis' gravesite for a while. Definately a trip back into time (going there), and worth the trip .

The whole day after , his songs were going off in my mind that I did NOT hear that day while at Graceland . Plus I felt "weird" for hours after leaving there. Very strange but glad we went to visit .....

I have Johnny Bench's 249th career homerun ball. He hit it on July 3,1976 in Riverfront off of Joe Niekro of the Astros. Got it directly from BallHawk Dave (very famous in Wrigley) who got it from the Riverfront LF security guard. It's pretty sweet.

not exactly a milestone ball but i thought it was a pretty cool baseball i picked up.

a Game Used Baseball Autographed by AROD from 2004

What makes this ball cool to me because it was used during
Arods 45th home run of the season
Sheffield hit his 10th grand slam
and Bubba Crosby ran over the first basemans arm and broke it :D

I do have Jose Canseco's 400th career homerun baseball and I also have the bat he hit it with. Since I don't know how to post pics on this forum. you can see the ball in the pic beside my sign in name. You can see the bat at PSA/DNA website under the certification #D62731. They are both amazing and I got them both from Jose himself. The coolest thing about it all is he hit it on my 20th Birthday and I was watching it live on TV. Easily one of the best B-day presents ever. I talked with John Taube about it and he was very impressed by it. It is not signed since Jose wasn't going to sell it but I eventually talked him into it after I told him the connection I had with it. I would like to see a poll of members who have the ball and bat from milestone homeruns. I'll bet that is pretty rare. The bat was graded a GU10. Very rarely does a bat grade a GU10, but I had so much proof and photos of him hitting it, he really had no choice. I do want to let people know how nice and professional John Taube is. A very nice man. Lets hear from more people about this.

Thanks, Todd Ricks

Of all my baseballs to chose from, maybe mine is the last pitch thrown to a tiger hitter in old tiger stadium. Jeff Montgomery finished the bottom of the eith inning w/ this baseball.

I have a bat used by Jorge Posada during 2007.

I photomatched it to an at bat where he drove in Jeter with an RBI Single - It was his 800th career rbi, a minor milestone.

Ball used in the game where Cal Ripken Jr. passed Japan's Sachio Kinugasa for the World Record of Most Consectutive Games in June of 1996 in Kansas City...I flew to KC for the weekend, bought a foul ball from a guy who caught one off the bat of Chris Holies and had Kinugasa (who was in attendance) sign if for me that evening...

I have a handful of milestone game baseballs:

Craig Biggio Hit #192 of 1998. Breaking His Previous Single Season Hit Total os #191. He went on to 210 Hits in 1998. This is the actual Hit #192 Ball

Craig Biggio 2500th Hit Game. Happened 5/8/2005 in Atlanta. This is one of 6 Baseballs MLB Authenticated from the Game. I also have 1 of 3 Bases from the game. Both are signed and inscribed.

Craig Biggio 250th Home Run Game. Happened 7/26/2005 in Houston. This is one of 6 Baseballs MLB Authenticated from the Game. I WAS THERE!!!

Craig Biggio 3000th Hit Game. Happened 6/28/2007. This is one of 36 Baseballs MLB Authenticated from the Game. I WAS THERE!!!

Jeff Bagwell 1500th RBI/1500th Run Game. Happened 9/18/2004 in Houston. Believe it or not, Jeff got both his 1500th RBI and 1500th Run Scored in the same game. This is one of 6 Baseballs MLB Authenticated from the Game.

2005 NLCS Game 6 Ball. This was the last game at old Busch and a ball from the game in which the Astros clinched their first ever Pennant! Very Historic for us Astros lifers!

2005 WS Game 2 Ball. This was from the first ever World Series Game Played in Texas, and more specifically Houston. Again, very Historic for us Astros lifers!

I don't have many. The ones I have are from Craig Biggio's 666th double game, which put him in 5th place all time on the career doubles list. I also have 4 baseballs I am getting a display for from Jeff Bagwell's 2,000th hit game in Montreal. Here they are:

I understand this. I stood in the front foyer for a few minutes while my wife was looking in the dining room and TV room...I had heard that his master bath is directly above the foyer (he died on the toilet up there)...

The grounds are pretty odd too. The house itself is not big and it felt at times like I was an intruder. Especially when we were near the kitchen.

Anyway...just wanted you to know that I understand where you were coming from. The raquetball court is the best part of the house IMO.

I actually saw Elvis look at me out of the window of Vernon's office building out back of Graceland while visiting a couple of years ago.

He's really still alive, you know...
