Hey Mike/ forum members,

Do you know if Rickey ordered any R43 block lettered "Henderson" bats in the early '80s like the one on ebay right now?

Hi Nick - the bat appears to be from the 83 - 85 labeling period. Rickey had a contract with Louisville Slugger at the time and his bats from this era would be signature model bats. There is no record of him ordering R43 or block letter bats during this period. The bat is another "Henderson" from that era - which is a common name. Let me know how else I can help. Thanks, jim
