    Carlton Fisk Bats

    Hello

    Did Carlton Fisk use a LS M110 between 1977 - 1980?

    Thanks!

    Hi--

In the 1977-79 label period Fisk often ordered M110......ten separate orders between 3/9/77 and 6/21/79 totaling 66 bats. All orders were 34 inches and 32, 33, or 34 ounces. All were Wax Finish.

Other models for Fisk during the period were S44 (a bunch), and a single order of D113. All bats during this period were 34 inches in length.

From that point he ordered S44 model only until 1983 when he began ordering M110 again (one M110 bat was sent to BB Miscell in 1983 was ordered with a specific length and weight, thus presumed to be for Fisk's professional use.)

    Good luck

I can confirm that Fisk did use a M110 in the 1983 season. I bought a cracked one directly from the White Sox inside the clubhouse after the season ended at the team's first "garage sale." I still have it. His name is in block letters. I think it might be a bat he cracked in the playoffs.
