    BP Jersey Tagging

Hello all! I was curious on what is the tagging on team worn batting practice jerseys from 2003 to present (on the majestic jerseys). Where is the size indicated? Is the size indicated by a number? I appreciate any responses or additional comments you believe are needed. Thanks in advance.

    Re: BP Jersey Tagging

Majestic went to a new type of tagging in 2003, the same year they switched to the new style of pre-games with the gusseted sleeves. You will find a rectangular "rubberized Jock" Majestic tag on the front left outer tail. To the left and sewn in the seam, you will find either a size (44, etc.) or a size designation (XL, XXL) tag. Some team have a size (Dodgers, Phillies, etc.), others a size designation (Indians, Red Sox).

It is important to note that the washing tag (found on the inside left seam) should have the 4 digit code 0065 stamped on it. 6500 is the code used on retail warm-ups.

    Hope this helps.
