Re: Picked up this Game Used Prince Fielder bat....need some info.
Here's a link to the Marucci bat company's site.
Lot of major leaguers have been using Marucci bats lately.
Carlos Beltran starting last year used Marucci bats exclusively. Other Mets like Jose Reyes and Paul LoDuca too. David Wright and Julio Franco have been using them starting this year in a few games.
I have a Carlos Beltran from 2006. The nice things about these Marucci's is the players number and exact manufacture date is engraved into the knobs.

Re: Picked up this Game Used Prince Fielder bat....need some info.
This bat is a Marucci bat, from Marucci Bat Company established in 2002. They have several players listed on their roster of users but Fielder isn't one of them...this of course doesn't mean he didn't use it, from photos I have reviewed, Prince used a solid black bat early in his career and went to a blonde bat in 2006, in late 2006 he began using a two tone LS and very possibly could have been using a Marucci two-tone but I cannot ascertain this info through the photos. Beltran was a big user of the bat as was Posada....for more information, go to www.maruccibats.com, I believe that there are now 31 companies that are authorized to provide bats for major league games and players....hope this helps

Re: Picked up this Game Used Prince Fielder bat....need some info.
Thanks for the info guys, I got it from a guy I know who has a source within the Brewers organization. The bat is from this year. It has 3-22-07 stamped on the bottom along with Prince's #28, so this could be a spring training game used bat. Anyways i appreciate the help. I am gonna ask Prince himself next time he has a signing on how often he has used this type of bat.Comment
