I know someone already asked this lots of times. But i need help with telling from a game used bat to a store model bat. I'm talking about bats from the 20's and 30's. I know the game used ones have 125 for Hillerich & Bradsby. And they also have no inch marks on the knob. But in a thread i read about a month or two ago someone said players back then sometimes used bats that had inch marks on them. So what i'm asking is how do you tell if it was used by that player. Also i have this bat that has inch marks but it has a lathe mark on top of it so could this bat have been used by the player and then sent back to H & B to be used to make more. Thanks
