My Jose Canseco bat collection

That thing is hammered with use and it has a handle crack. At first I thought the second worth bat was a game model bat since it was reportly aquired directly from Jose. However, as you can see it is quite different from the gamer on top. Also there is only the number 5 stamped on the handle where as the gamers usually have JC an the model number. I can only assume that this was a bat the Jose ordered for card shows or something like that. The bat pictured below looks like it is the same as the one I have. The cooper bat was authenticated by Jose recently. Lastly the 1998 Blue Jays Young Co. Bat. It's a game bat but it has no use. It's basically from the rack. I'm always looking to add more but I think this is a good start.

ebay has long been littered with autographed canseco worth bats that were sold in mass quantities via retail channels and never used (or issued). a little like scoreboard jerseys. although they were solely retail bats, i never understood the difference between those bats and genuine 80s worth canseco gamers. they looked identical to me. it seemed to me like anyone could pick one up, doctor it up, and sell it as a canseco gamer.

Perhaps someday I'll come across a Worth bat expert who can edjucate me about the differences. I'm not really worried aout it though because it's a cool bat either way and I know my two other bats are legit gamers.
