Here is my Game Used Jose Canseco 400th Homerun bat and the ball also. I have included several pics of both and one of Jose hitting his 400th. Since I have the bat and ball I have actually been able to match the ink transfer from where he hit the 400th HR. I would love to see everyone elses milestone memorabilia such as HR milestones, Hit milestones, etc. Todd

Those are great pieces. I wish I had a milestone bat. That SAM bat is nice. Did you buy it from Jose himself? Is SAM brand bats of his the toughest to find out there. Any idea how many he had ordered of those.

Thanks for the compliment. I did buy it from Jose along with the ball to match. Sam bats are not that tough, although a little tougher than say a Worth, Rawlings, or Cooper. He started using them during 1998 while with the Toronto Blue Jays and continued up until the end of his career. He was one of the first to use the SAM bat and to make it popular. I guess it had something to do with the fact that they are made in Canada and that is what team he was with at the time. Joe Carter was also one of the first. By far the toughest bat of Jose's I have seen would have to be the X-bat I have from his time with the Expos. It is the only one I have ever seen. If anyone else has ever seen one I would like to know.

I would love to see a pic of it. Is it inscribed by him. I would think you would probably have a nice photomatch also.

It isn't a game used item but it relates to an important milestone in baseball history. - Bobby Thomson's letter from the HOF, dated 1953, thanking him for donating the bat he used to hit his "Shot Heard 'Round the World".

I posted these last year on the forum. Here they are again. These are Gary Carter milestone bats from the 85-86 season. Gary auctioned them off to the highest bidder with proceed going to the Leukemia Society.

The orginal buyer sold them during the late nineties to veteran Met collector Andy Fogel who I subequently purchased them from. Actually I believe the 5 hr in 2 days bat used to be in Abe K's collection at one time.
