My newest Sheff bat...is now my oldest bat

I just acquired a 1992 Rawlings Big Stick Gary Sheffield game used Padres bat from the son of Padres manager Greg Riddoch.This year is special in Sheffs career as it was his breakout season and he made a run at the triple crown.It is now by far the oldest bat i own.Makes me want to start looking into older bats!

Nice bat from a great hitter.

It is good to hear that Shef is concerned about the lack of interest from African-American youth in getting into organized baseball as a hobby or as a profession. I wish he didn't have to use a Latin race comparison to get his point across however.

nice Sheff pick up, I was interested in purchasing that bat on eBay but I missed out. I have been lucky enough to find two Sheffiled rookie gamers from his Brewers days, I'll try to post pics when I get a chance.
