    David Ortiz Photomatched Bat

David Ortiz Nokona bat photomatched to Red Sox vs Tigers series in May.

First photo shows Ortiz with Tigers shortstop Carlos Guillen checking out his bat, you can see the black mark/streak in the Nokona logo that runs down to the gold strip and also the blue ink marks on the top of the barrel.

Second photo shows Ortiz holding the bat and view of the back barrel area with several distinct matches.

Let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks, Bobby

Nice match! Is it a BP bat? It looks like he was using it before the game. Has he used his Nokona bats in many games this year?

      Chris,

Thanks! Most likely BP and game.

Still looking for photos of Ortiz swinging a similar two-tone Nokona model during a game. Ortiz used Nokona during the first couple of months of the season and lately has been swinging a two-tone Rawlings.
