I p/u this football helmet from an Estate sale this weekend and the person told me his Dad got while he was at USC. Can someone tell about the time period when USC wore this type of helmet.

it's not a usc trojans football helmet, just a helmet made to roughly look like one...

too many to list - but most can be found by spending just five minutes at any online photo database!

Please give me the reasons why. I did do some photo data base research and found the color is correct, the decals are correct and the facemask is correct. Can you help me out I know that now days they put the team name on the helmet. But like I stated this is an older helmet I figure late 70's to mid to late 80's

USC never wore gold face masks. They either wore red or grey.

Isn't it possible to be from a high school or another college besides USC?
Has USC ever used those small logo award decals on back?

I'm inclined to agree with you, as the helmet and mask don't look THAT dated, yet a review of photos of the past 20 years shows no yellow masks ever worn by USC, and the logo is NOT the same as any I could find on any USC helmet in pics over that period. This one is slightly different.

Thanks guys for the information I am going to keep looking I know that there are 2 high school teams that are the Trojans but thier colors do not match the helmet. Both-Teams-Play-Hard thanks for the link it will be a great help. By the way did I tell you guys that I also p/u a Tuder electric football game also.
