    Broadway Rick's Esiason Jersey?

    Hey everyone-
I noticed the Boomer Esiason 1994 Jets jersey in Broadway Rick's auction (Lampson LOA). It's a size 54. Is that the size he wore? http://bid.strikezoneauctions.com/Bi...5C614A43CE6B52
There's a currently a 1995 game issued Esiason Jets jersey on ebay which is a 48.
Then again in 6/04 American Memorabilia sold a signed game used 1994 Esiason which was also a 54 (Lampson LOA)

Anyone know his height and weight from this time?

This may or may not be related.
On Boomer Esiason's website you can buy an Authentic 1994 Jets Esiason jersey for $350

This one has the "throwbacks" tag on it and not the champion tag. Is it possible they could have used Jets issued jerseys before the whole throwbacks craze?
    Just thinking out loud

Here's the explanation I was given when I emailed the auction house to find if Esiason wore a size 54.
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello. This item was authenticated by Lou Lampson. He signed off on it being a ’94 game used jersey and we stand by his opinion.

      Thanks,

        translation:

Jen: "I have no clue who Esasoon is. I have a little laminated cheatsheet that instructs me to answer all inquiries with the phrase "Lou Lampson signed off on it".

Thank you, drive through, come again.

The real question becomes; why even hire a body? why not just set up an auto-reply in Outlook to automatically answer any incoming emails with a reply that simply says "Lou says it good". These people aren't thinking hard enough about cutting costs. Next big idea: outsourcing authentications to India. I hear Indian authenticators will do the job for 1/3 the cost.

        Rudy.
