Is this bat breaking or just bending from impact?

If it didn't break after this hit, then this is simply unbelieveable.

Impact does not cause the flex, nor is this bat breaking. Bats flex naturally when swung, as can be captured in photographs. Golf clubs have similar 'whip' action action that is much more pronoounced due to the materials used and length of the club.

That is merely a factor of the hand is quicker than the eye. Take a pencil and wiggle it and it will appear the same way. Golf clubs flex because they have graphite shafts that are meant to bend.
