Just curious why a mattingly coaches jersey will sell for $500-$700 and one of his gamers from his paling days will go for $4000 -$7000

I know it has to do with actually playing but it it really worth almost 10 TIMES the price more? By the way i am looking for one of his coaches jerseys...
