Was this really the best timing for the announcement considering they came on here pretending to be a member of the military?????????????

Here's the email
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subject: December Auction Is Now Open! Happy Veterans Day!

Date: 11/11/2005 11:52:45 AM Eastern Standard Time
From: Auctions@AmericanMemorabilia.com

Our "Holiday Gift Auction" Auction Is Now Open!
Greetings Registered Bidders and Thank You all Veterans!! :

Our 10th Annual "Holiday Gift" auction is now opened. Our catalogs will be mailed out soon but if you can't wait you may always download our catlag from our Home Page

We still have many great items without a high bidder!!!

Show me auction items without bids... (link deleted)

Please note that our official auction close time is 8:00pm PST on Auction End Date, however we use the 15 minute rule to determine the actual close. What this means is that at auction close time (8:00pm PST) we will wait for 15 minutes for another bid to be placed. If bid is placed we will continue to allow bidding and start another 15 minute period to allow bidding to continue. When we have not received a bid in a 15 minute period we will close the auction.

Eric,

While the Vet's Day wishes may be a bit laughable, I'm impressed that who ever wrote their email decided to used spell and grammar check this time.
