after his last at bat, and going hitless again, Alex rolled his bat off the dugout to a young kid standing behind the Yankees dug out. The kid was shown with the bat and his family was seen taking pictures and calling people...

ARod did not break the bat and it did not appear to crack on his last out--he just was frustrated and felt it was the bats fault, so away it went.

is it just me...or would you have "accidently" rolled the kid into the dugout. I mean accidents happen.. especially when it has to do with a bat thats worth a few grand..prolly his 499 hr bat.

Thanks for the video.I think its cool what Alex did,Kudos for him..I just hopes he keeps the bat and doesnt decidie to sell it.Maybe some day he can get Alex to sign the bat.That would be sweet

After the last game of the 2002 Rangers season I saw him give a bat he had hit a double in the game with to a young boy. I don't know if the kid realized what he had but his parents sure seemed to. With the often justified criticism we give players its nice to see when they do a good thing.
