MLB Auctions Game Used/Issued Pink Bats

MLB just listed a new batch of Pink bats from Mother's Day. Some are game used and others are listed as game issued. In looking at some of the listings, I noticed that several of the bats do not come with the MLB Authentic holograms(noted in item descriptions). Many of the bats w/o the holograms are also signed by the players. My questions is, why would MLB sell items on it's website w/o designating them as authentic?

huh.....interesting.....but check out this auction for a Johnny Damon game issued bat............GAME ISSUED?? There are ball marks, pine tar, and a crack in the handle.....how is that game issued :confused:

Maybe it was issued but the guys from mlb.com went to the batting cages with it.:)
