I have recently purchased a Dodgers Coolmax jersey with the unusual notation Dodgers "Fabric Test" sewed onto the bottom part of the tail.

Does anyone know whether the Dodgers have ever worn Coolmax jerseys? If so, since when?

Also, can anyone shed any light upon when players are sent jerseys marked
"Fabric Test"?
