A fitting piece of art to honor the man who made "holy cow" famous...

We were just in Cooperstown in July and my son wanted me to take a pic of him. I explained to him who Rizzuto was and that Papa and Uncle Joey (my in-laws) were (Yankee and) Rizzuto fans. Even though I am a Red Sox fan, I always enjoyed hearing Scooter's voice during telecasts.

I loved the guy, although I am a Red Sox fan. His associates used to tell me about his leaving the games after the 6th inning so he could beat the traffic across the bridge. A one of a kind. RIP

I had the opportunity to meet Phil at a Pizza shop in the Bronx a few years ago. He was so nice-he spoke with my wife and me for a few minutes and gave me a nice auto. A true class act.
How quickly will the Yankees have the memorial 10 on the sleeve of their jerseys?
