    Pujols bat

This is a first for me!!! Albert sanding his name and team name from a Sam bat. Any other bat collectors care to comment??? eBay # 220140103681.

The heavy pine tar and removed tape job are huge red flags by themselves... the "sanded off" names are just absurd.

"We are assuming Albert sands his bats down once they are broken so his memorabilia can not be sold"

Why would he do that if he sells his equipment for the Pujols Family Foundation? That would be an extra 2 grand for the foundation, he wouldn't sand down his bats so his memorabilia can't be sold. I've never seen this before, but the MLB hologram confuses me. I wonder what it will say in the database once it's entered.

I saw a bat just like it that was badly cracked and was taped with Medical tape to hold it together.

The MLB hologram should tell the tale anyway.

The sanded off name is bizarre and certainly devalues that bat greatly.
