JOE CARTER 1998 ORIOLES GAME USED JERSEY

Granted, Joe Carter wasn't traded by the Orioles until July 23, 1998, which makes it POSSIBLE that he could have worn a 2nd pattern jersey from that season...but at 6'3/215, how does he wear a size 44 jersey? I can't pull that trick off at 5'9/185...so, I'd love to know how he did it!

Dear Member I cannot say if the jersey is real or not but the measurements are not all that crazy the 44 is a chest size and even though he is a big guy. he might have a small chest I am 6'2 225lbs and I have a 46 - 48 chest / Darryl Strawberry who I collect is about 6'5 and his chest ranged through the years from a 44 to a 48, so it really depends on how wide the persons shoulders and there chest size. So 44 is not to crazy!!! but I will say this the autograph looks authentic. from the look of the jersey though it doesn't seem to have any wear.
