What kind of bat does daric Barton use?
Hello all,
If you go to minorleaguebaseball.com and you click on the around the minors tab on the front page it shows a pic of Daric Barton swinging a bat. My question is, what kind of bat is it? It looks like it has a really thin barrell. Is this a new style bat he's sporting? I sure would like one.

Here's a pic of him with a similar bat from Spring Training of this year. Any ideas on what it is?

Looks similar to the bat he was using last night in Seattle and that was a Rawlings bat.

Now my next question is, how does one find his game used bats? I only have one, and it is from his stay in the minors. I sure would like an uncracked gamer from this season or his stay in the Majors.

He is pretty hard I know in ST he wouldnt give me a bat he had cracked. He told me he keeps all his stuff so he might have a contract with someone for his stuff. i even had Eric Chavez vouch for me that I don't sell my stuff I keep it for my private collection and he still didn't give it too me.
Where do most of you guys get your stuff. I have over 100 game used bats I have gotten almost all of them directly from the players or the bat boys.

The pictured bat is a black Rawlings from the 2003 season which he spent in Cardinals Rookie ball at Johnson City. I mount an autographed card of each payer with the bat. This card is #25 UD 2003 and shows him holding a black Rawlings. There are no uniform numbers on the knob or cupped barrel end. Rawlings knob stamping is 460 S 738 03. After he was traded to the "A's" on 12.19.04, I no longer followed him. Hope this is of some help.
