waechter's first game for the devil rays occurred in 2003. in 2003 he played a total of 6 games for them. the lampson LOA states it's a 2003 jersey.

Lampson and Historic state that the accompanying Devil Rays team letter supports the jersey's authenticity. the Devil Rays letter however states that "ASI has purchased the Devil Rays 2001 game worn jerseys".

according to Lampson and Historic then, a team letter referencing 2001 jerseys is provenance for a 2003 jersey. beautiful.

Yes there appears to be discrepencies in the wording, however the jersey looks to be jake at the time of this response is only 71.50 which for a GU MLB Jersey is cheap I would have to think...
