Help with Brooklyn Dodgers Jersey
A friend of mine just picked up a Don Bessent game used uniform with a few other personal Bessent items including some old wire photos and pictures from an 80s ear dodgers event. He sent me pics of the jersey and pants. I said it looks more to me like some sort of Old Timers jersey since the tagging in the pants reads 55 WC and the jersey isnt flannel. Who is our Dodgers expert here?

Re: Help with Brooklyn Dodgers Jersey
I could be very wrong, but somewhere in the cracks and crevices of my collecting mind, I seem to recall that WC on a jersey stood for Winter Carnival.....some kind of old time fan appreciation type event......I dont think that term has been used since the 60's though.

Re: Help with Brooklyn Dodgers Jersey
I assume the 55 WC stood for 1955 World Champions. Of course I know little.

Late 70s or 1980s Goodman tags. Must be from an Old-Timer's event.
