Anyone own "Pujols Authentic" Items?
I have seen these items on eBay from a particular seller. The items are high end game used items (generally with autographs) that have the hologram "Pujols Authentic" and a serial number. The items were supposedly procured through Albert's cousin Wil Pujols and a high school friend Juan Almonte. Many items have a GAI authentication on the autographs... ...but one WS hat in particular had a Spence sticker on it....a supposed GU 2006 WS hat. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here is a link to an autographed card that sold recently. The sigs do not look like most of Albert's autographs...JMO.

Re: Anyone own "Pujols Authentic" Items?
I am not so much interested in the authenticity of the items as the sourcing. Does anyone know if Albert gives his family members game used items and autographs to re-sell? Most folks don't name sources - at least from what I have researched...

Re: Anyone own "Pujols Authentic" Items?
Is Wil Pujols that much of a celebrity that it is questionable? I am thinking of changing my last name to Pujols too - might get me comped at the casino.
Seriously, I can appreciate the fact that the seller of these items is trying very hard to provide prominence - but how do buyers know that Wil and the seller are legit? Hypothetically speaking...what if Wil Pujols is simply signing things himself and putting his own sticker on them? I also noticed that on the GU items that there was a LOA with a third party signature on it. I can't quite make out the name...but it looks like David something. I would be interested in learning more about the company, as there are some items that are really cool if it is proven they are legitimate. I just was under the impression that Albert stopped giving items to his extended family members.
Not accusing anyone of anything, I wonder if Albert's contract with UD has any type of stipulation that says he can't sell (or give away to sell) autographs and game used items to a third party...if that's the case, I doubt he would want a sticker and LOA with PUJOLS written on it...too bad we can't talk straight up with Albert.

Bigtruck260,
Where did you get that quote from pujolsauthentic5 regarding Eric and Chris' beliefs about Wil Pujuls ("Eric and Chris find it too hard to believe that the real Wil Pujols negistered here.")? Is that from another thread? If so, please let me know where as I'm struggling to follow this thread.

Re: Anyone own "Pujols Authentic" Items?
The seller contacted me - and we have had offline conversations about his items. I like this forum too much to make enemies with anyone, and it is amazing to me that a seller of high end memorabilia would get upset when a potential buyer asks the opinions of others. I searched GUU forums for the company, and finding nothing, I posed a question. Guess I will refrain from that kind of stuff in the future. The last thing I want to do is upset anyone.
