19th century baseball glove
This auction closed last night on eBay for a very nice 19th century glove. I finished in the unenviable position of second highest bidder. Glove guys, please tell me what you think. Is the glove from the late 1890s? Did the glove sell for a reasonable price? I'm feeling that I should have gone higher, as I think it might be quite rare and worth much more than it sold for. Thanks...

That's a neat old glove. I know nothing about gloves but that would be a splendid piece for a collection.
