1969 Red Sox Gerry Moses Jersey

Hello forum members. On eBay, there is a “Red Sox” jersey that has me somewhat miffed. The item number is 320169986162. When viewing the auction, check out the scans of the MEARS LOO and compare the title/header against the comments section of the LOO. I just can’t figure out exactly what this item is.

Bottom line, the MEARS letter seems to imply that the jersey can't possibly be a 1969 Gerry Moses Boston Red Sox jersey and that the jersey probably came from a minor league club.

MooseDog, if what you say is true, unless Gerry Moses played in the Red Sox minor league system in 1969, why even reference the jersey to him?

He did play for the "Boston" Red Sox in 1969 and he wore the number 10.
