    any thought's on owning a page from Joe Dimaggio's diary he wrote from 1981 to 1993. is this something you would want for you collection?

    I think it would be absolutely criminal to rip it up and sell it page by page. Tantamount to shredding historically significant jerseys and selling 1" pieces of them attached to a piece of cardboard.
    Not cool..........at all.

      Too late, they had them broke up in 1 page leather bound offerings on the late night shopping network for $1495 w/ Steiner certs.

        Whether or not shameful, it's stupid. The value (and I don't just mean $$ value) of a first edition War and Peace is in the whole book, not a page ripped out-- not to mention that you need more than 2 pages to read the story. The value of a comic book is in the whole comic book, not a page ripped out. Same goes with DiMaggio's diary.
