Brooks in Hall of 'Frame'

As soon as Jacksonville's victory over Tampa Bay was in the books Sunday, RB Fred Taylor made sure to locate Bucs LB Derrick Brooks. It was more than a meeting to say good game. It was a business transaction.

After the two shook hands and shared pleasantries, Brooks peeled off his game jersey and handed it to Taylor. Jacksonville's 10th-year runner brought it to the locker room with him, concealed it by wrapping it up in a towel and took it home with him.

"Guy's played 200 games in the NFL," Taylor said. "Going straight to the framer."

No stop to the washing machine.

"Grass stains and all, just like that," he said.

Brooks, a Florida State icon (and trustee), and Taylor, a Florida legend, close friends? Yep. As it turns out, Brooks introduced Taylor to his future wife.

Pretty cool! I wonder what other jerseys Fred has in his collection.
