Historic Auctions - Steve Garvey jersey

Historic currently has a Steve Garvey "game-used" Padres jersey for auction. The jersey style is one that was worn from 1985-1990. The Padres wore the RAK patch from 1984-86. Garvey played for the Padres from 1983-87.

1) the Wilson tag on Historic's Garvey dates from 1974-77.

2) the nob appears to use the wrong font. (note the "A" and "V")

3) Padres gamers from 1985 had a strip tag. Historic's jersey lacks this strip tag. I'm unsure if the Padres also had strip tags in 1984 or 1986.

The Garvey home jersey on Historic Auctions is a fake, too. It has Wilson tags, and the Dodgers used Goodman during his time in LA
