AMI / CNI Connection?

I recently aquired a copy of an old AMI catalog before they started using models. I was looking at the AMI team and noticed that there are a couple of employes and afflilates that have worked or were asscociated with the old CNI. Does anybody remember CNI and why they went out of business and what year? Has anybody done business with them in the past?
