76ers Game Worn Jerseys & Warm-ups.

About 5-10 years ago, a local Sports memorabilia store, Beachcomber in the Shore Mall, made a bulk purchase of 76ers jerseys, pants, warm-up tops and pants. Most of the jerseys had the NOB back removed but some were all original.

What I found most interesting were the warm-up tops. All were properly tagged and had a small swatch where the equipment manager would simply hand-write the player’s jersey number. The interesting thing was, while only some of the swatches did have a player number, most were blank.

Now I do not want any member to construe that any 76ers items in any current auctions may be part of the beachcomber lot, I am just posting this thread to let members know that such items are out there.

i remember that ad i think i purchased my only basketball item from them. i have a blue sixers warm up from sand knit with the exclusive tag size 40 it must have shrunk cause its real small now. it doesnt have a blank swatch tho. Jeff
