Hi BMH,

In the recent Hunt/L.S. auction, I purchased a few of the the cast brass baseball bat dies used to brand the Louisville Slugger bats. My question to you.... Is/was it common practice for the L.S. company to keep any/all of the player's signature cast brass bat dies? If saved, were they catalogued? If not were they melted down?

We keep all the signature dies on a wall and in different storage areas. We have over 8000 names, we have an Accel file and several old record books that keep track of where they are.
