Just picked up a nice Bengals helmet. It's a very rare Rawlings HND-9 model helmet. Many thanks to Robert for his most valuable assistance.

That Bengals HND-9 is a fantastic piece. Is it painted or impregnated orange? Here is a vintage, TAK 29 impregnated orange Riddell. Not game used but unused,old stock.

The helmet is impregnated. I hate to publicly kiss ass but as usual, Robert was most helpful. When I initially saw the helmet, I remembered a thread that Robert wrote Months ago about the font style used on authentic Bengals helmet logos. The font style seemed to match up to what Robert had commented on so I emailed the seller with some questions. At the same time, I emailed Robert who was kind enough to get back to me - he told me about the model of helmet, how rare it was and some Bengals did use these helmets. So, when the seller got back to me, I was ready to buy it.

Your are correct in your praise of Robert. His knowledge and generosity in sharing it is commendable. Also, glad you like the TAK 29 but it is no HND-9! How is that for helmet 'geek speak' : )

Just picked-up a nice Packers suspension helmet. The clock above the ear-hole states the shell was manufactured in 1974.

Picked up a couple of Donta Jones helmets and game balls. The Nebraska helmet is from their National Championship season. I also have 5 hand-painted game balls and 4 white panel game balls.

I just received this Brian Moorman from NFL Auctions...I have been very happy with the jerseys that I have been receiving from NFL Auctions...the use on this one is terrific. This is a pink patch captains jersey that was worn for one game but the use of this tells me it was probably used for all of last year...it also has the 08 tagging.

Are there repairs on this jersey? Looks sweet...just wondering what sort of wear you can get from a punters jersey?

No repairs on this one, but you can tell that there is a lot of pilling in different sports plus the tag looks like it has been washed a buch of times. You can just tell when a jersey has been worn a bunch and when it has been worn once.
