Here is the Orlando Pace lot as I purchased it. All from the same season and all worn. Helmet and Rams jersey have Prova tracking and the Pro Bowl jersey has a letter from Topp's Vault(I still think it is worn due to wear and sweat despite that)

yea i would bid on all their stuff but factor in a 15% fee for i still don't know what and the reserve its not that good of a deal.

problem with the JO auctions is that their reserves are set at close to retail so the $500 min bet is no where near the reserve and will most likely never be met.

I really dont know the point of their auctions

Blitzmaster-a question about the Topps Vault- did they, at one time, auction off jerseys? I looked at the Vault website and could not find any indication that jerseys were sold.

I wonder what else the vault had in terms of gamers? Is there a list of what the Topps vault had, sold and/or cut up for cards? If so, I am sure that many of the GUU forum members would love to see it.

By the way-GREAT helmet collection!

Thanks again for the Richard Dent shirt-I had it sent to his "Make A Dent" foundation and he signed the front and back. Funny thing is I have a feeling that he is not to keen on his time with the 49ers!

A few new and interesting 49er GU pickups!

A very rare 2002 preseason Jeff Ulbrich gamer from the 49er-Redskins matchup played in Osaka, Japan. The NFL had a very cool patch for the game which was subsequently removed for the season. I have never seen another 49er or Skins shirt with this patch. Included with the jersey were the game programs (in Japanese) and inflatable sticks. The jersey came in the typical bag that NFL Auctions use, complete with inventory #. I cannot find the # listed in any database though.

1991 Ricky Watters rookie shirt with date code DU. He was injured all of 1991 though thus the jersey saw action in 1992 or in the preseason of 1991.

This jersey is another example of how shirts can vary from each other. The nameplate is not the typical mesh material but a thicker material. Knowing the characteristics of other similar era gamers is key to identifying variations that pop up. This can help clarify if a jersey is authentic or not.

I compared images of my 1992 John Taylor to the Watters and noted that the nameplate material on both shirts is exactly the same. Just that fact made me feel completely comfortable with the Watters shirt.

I did some photo-matching work on the RW and found a close match to his ProSet 1992 "Draft Choices" card. The sleeves are open on both the card and the jersey and the position of the NFL shield as well as the Wilson W, on the left sleeve, seems to match quite nicely.

Always buying 49ers gamers and ALL/ANY 1994 49er GU items! Paying a finders fee (up to 500$) for info that results in a sale!
