mark sutton made a comment about the 2006 miguel tejada jersey in historic's current auction that i thought deserved its own thread.

mark's comment: "..2006 Miguel Tejada road jersey with year tagging (which the Orioles haven't done since 1999) and no Elrod Hendricks memorial #44!"

elrod hendricks passed away in dec 2005. for the entire 2006 season, the orioles wore a "#44" memorial on their sleeve.

lampson's loa makes no mention of the missing memorial. the description says that "the back of the jersey shows consistent puckering due to extensive washing".
