Photomatched after 7 years
Although I know this Cory Lidle TBTC 2000 Tampa Bay /St.pete jersey is authentic(vs Chi White Sox 8/12/00). It drove me mad that I could never get a photo of Lidle from this game. Constant photo searches with requests to Tampa Bay D.Rays for either a photo or video went unanswered. Then recently a photo of Lidle from this game went up for bid on ebay and quickly the auction ended with the seller stating 4 people and 2 dealers requested this photo and"I will relist at a higher opening bid than $125.". I went on Google and luckily found another dealer Autographsforsale.com had also listed the autographed photo and another from that game. You know you have the real deal but there's something about having a photo(s)to go with it.
Thanks to Theo Chen of autographforsale.com

Re: Photomatched after 7 years
Has anybody had any experience with contacting ESPN in regard to acquiring a copy of a game that was broadcast. The game that these jerseys were worn was broadcast in the afternoon on ESPN on 8/12/2000. Even to acquire a portion of the game would be O.K.. also does anyone own a White Sox TBTC jersey from this game?

Re: Photomatched after 7 years
Did you go to there website it was amazing. They make an exact replica of just about every old minor league, negro league, Barnstorming, and Internation leagues Jerseys that there are. I was surprised myself that there were even barn storming teams near my neighborhood that I didnt know about.
I was so surprised to make sure everyone gets a chance to see this ill start a new thread for others to see these jerseys.
I suggest everyone take a look at there site and look under baseball Jerseys go through them all its amazing how many they make.

Re: Photomatched after 7 years
It's the same jersey. Here's the story. I sold the jersey in August to a friend who decided to try to sell it himself . After two tries on ebay,no takers. He asked me if I wanted it back and I said O.K. I go on ebay after agreeing to buy it, to see the bidding history on the two attempted sales. I punch in "Lidle" and see an item for sale of the photo of him pitching from that day wearing the jersey. I fell off my chair because I haven't been able to find a game photo since I got the jersey. The jersey is great made special that it's Lidle's but the photos "make" the jersey. I mean who's putting a "Saints" jersey on their wall? But in a display with the photos, now your talking. Buy the way,the two auto photos together cost more than the jersey. Then again, aside from the Lidle family who needs those photos more than me.

Re: Photomatched after 7 years
Still a nice find......
I know what you mean about having a photo match . I bought a Josh Paul batting helmet at a Devil Rays auction (during a game) and was able to match it .
I was thinking about buying the jersey, but I just bought a Julio Lugo Wilson game used fielding glove (should be here tomorrow)...........
